Lea Road is a 4-bed house share in Wallasey that really packs a punch. The design is considered and functional leaving an end-product that’s just *chef’s kiss* 🤌.

 

The tour

As you walk through the front door into the hallway, the art prints and 50:50 walls are an early sign of the tasteful design that permeates the rest of the home. As far as house shares go, this is the crème de la crème.

Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor and uses a partition to create the effect of having two rooms in one. The living room, accessed off the hall, utilises the space under the stairs for a hybrid space that tenants can use to work from home or to pitch up for their morning cuppa’. This leads on to an open plan kitchen that continues the theme of being super functional and sleek.

Upstairs are three more bedrooms, one of which is an en-suite, and a separate bathroom which is shared by the other two. From bespoke desks to bedside wall lights, the details do the heavy lifting here.

 

The area

The house is located near King Street which is a suburban high street filled with shops and businesses. For your food shopping there’s a McColl’s and a Tesco Metro both within 5 minutes walk.

New Brighton Beach, the jewel in Wallasey’s crown, can be reached by walking for 30 minutes along Egremont Promenade. In the other direction, you’re 20 minutes walk away from Seacombe Ferry Terminal, which has regular ferries shuttling to Liverpool and back.
