Featured Home: Picton Road

Picton Road is a six bed house share in the hustle and bustle of Picton High Street. We rent exclusively to working professionals in this house and don’t accept applications from undergraduate students.

The Tour

Entry to the house is from Picton High Street and accessed from a converted former shop-front. There is one bedroom on the ground floor and then the common areas are set at the back of the house.

The common areas are made up of a good-sized living room, which has access to the backyard. This leads on to an open-plan kitchen and utility room before steps lead to a downstairs bathroom at the very back of the house.

The upper floors, set in one of Liverpool’s famous red-brick terraces, house five more bedrooms, varying in size and price but all with their own en-suite bathroom. Rooms come fully furnished with beds, drawers, desks and wardrobes.

The Area

Picton is part of Wavertree and just north of the student area of Smithdown Road. If you work in town and use public transport, the bus conveniently stops right outside the front door.

Nearby you’ll find plenty of shops, pubs and a Tesco Metro. Wavertree Playground (known locally as “The Mystery”) is a 6 minute walk away too. The city centre is 45 minutes walk or 19 minutes on the bus and the restaurants and bars of Smithdown Road are a short 14 minute walk away.

We recommend checking out Belzan for food or Handyman’s for Craft Beer and live music.
